Buccaneers’ soccer teams shine on Senior Night

Christian Peterson reporter.riverbendnews@gmail.co On Thursday, Jan. 18, the Branford Buccaneers soccer teams stepped onto the field to face off against the Dixie County Bears. In addition to a thrilling night of soccer, the Bucs were ready to honor their senior players. First, the Buccaneers' senior girls approached the field. They gathered to take a moment to thank those who had helped them get to where they are, and spoke of the future as they prepared to move on to adulthood. The team then took to the field for their match against the Bears. What followed was a back and forth battle. For every goal the Bucanneers made, there was a response from the Bears. Eventually, though, as time
