Rotary Club of Branford announces Boys State scholarship opportunity

Rotary Club of Branford Contributor The Rotary Club of Branford is proud to announce that it has voted unanimously to provide a scholarship for a rising 12th grader at Branford High School to attend Boys State. This scholarship will cover all student attendance expenses, including room and board, program fees and all meals. The decision was made after a presentation by Darcy Wright from Boys State, who highlighted the need at Branford High School. Boys State is a one-week summer program structured to simulate Florida's state government's operation and structure, with activities such as writing and debating bills, conducting elections and holding court and mock trials.
