Jasper City Council prepares for election

His only item to be brought before the council was a discussion on the health insurance policy for the Rickerson family. He explained that it was the policy of the city that when an individual is no longer employed by the city, the health insurance benefits cease. He contacted Sheena Rickerson to discuss this with her, and she asked him about a Florida statute that would require the city to continue to pay benefits for life, due to Anthony Rickerson, the previous Police Chief for Jasper City Po
