Sessions approved for full-time city manager position

The Live Oak City Council began the new year on Tuesday, Jan. 9, by approving Resolution 2023-03, authorizing the appointment of Larry Sessions to the official position of city manager during its regular meeting.
Sessions has been serving as the interim city manager since April 2023. Councilman Tommie Jefferson expressed his excitement about Sessions's appointment, citing positive feedback from the community and recognizing the great strides made during his interim tenure.
