Mayo Town Council changes billing process to help town clerk

The meeting began with the swearing in of Mayo's newest town council member, Linda Cone. The council then approved the agenda and adopted the minutes before approving advertisements for engineering services. Then, the council moved on to department head reports. Sampson Edwards with utilities and public works told the council not much was going on other than preparing for the storm that hit Tuesday afternoon. Garrett Land with planning and zoning informed the council that there would soon be a request before them for a special exception for a bar or tavern
