Branford students join forces with SCSO for the holiday season

Halie Weatherington reporter3.riverbendnews@gmail.com The Suwannee County Sheriff's Office (SCSO) enjoys spreading its Christmas spirit when the holiday comes around, but this year, they received a little extra help. Ninth graders at Branford High School put their pens to paper and wrote several letters from Santa, which were passed on to the deputies to hand out to the various children they help throughout the season. Vernon Richards was the lucky student who had the opportunity to deliver the letters on Tuesday, Dec. 5, and Corporal Zac Clark, Branford High School's Resource Officer, received them with a smile.
