Lafayette Commission approve bids for Edward Perry Sports Complex upgrades

The meeting began as normal by heading into department head reports, beginning with Scott Sadler, head of public works. He told the board that he was submitting the roads for the SCRAP and SCOP programs. The board agreed to submit the top three roads, as well as attempt to get legislative appropriation. Sadler also submitted the recommendation for Bruce Wimbeley to be a new road department operator, which the board approved.
