Suwannee County PAL wins state cheerleading competition

Suwannee County PAL Contributor The Suwannee County Police Athletic League (PAL) recently took home the first-place trophy in the 12 and under Cheer Dance State Competition. This squad of 15 young girls put on an impressive performance, showcasing their well-coordinated cheerleading routines, pom poms and team colors. The competition was held on Saturday, Dec. 2, at Embry-Riddle University's ICI Center Suwannee County PAL was established in the early 1990s under then-Sheriff Robert Leonard and has since continued to operate from the Corporal Gary Edwards Memorial Gymnasium at the Douglass Center.
