Hamilton County High School sophomores explore careers at NFC

NFC Contributor On Tuesday, Nov. 14, Hamilton County High School sophomores attended a Mini-Preview Campus Tour at North Florida College (NFC). This tour showcases NFC workforce programs, where high school students are immersed in potential careers with hands-on learning experiences. Forty-six students started their interactive tour at the NFC Public Safety Academy, including a review of equipment, gun range and tactical maneuvers. They then headed to the driving pad for the Commercial Driver’s License program. The next stops at the Career and Workforce Education building included: learning how to provide oxygen to a patient and complete a tourniquet at the Emergency Medical Technician
