Home suffers significant smoke damage

Lee Trawick reporter2.riverbendnews@gmail.com On Friday, Dec. 8, a vehicle with three passengers was driving northbound on Parshley Street in Live Oak when they noticed smoke coming out of a home's gable vents. One of the passengers alerted the Suwannee Telecommunication 911 system, which immediately dispatched the Live Oak Fire Department (LOFD) to 322 SW 77th St. Luckily, the homeowner was not at home, and no one else was inside. The first to arrive on the scene was the Live Police Department, followed shortly after by the LOFD.
