Rollover wreck claims the life of Live Oak man

Lee Trawick reporter2.riverbendnews@gmail.com On Friday, Dec. 8, at approximately 3:44 p.m., a 2007 GMC Sierra was traveling northbound on State Road 51 in Suwannee County when it overturned, resulting in the death of a 55-year-old Live Oak resident. According to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) report, the driver failed to negotiate a left turn onto 201st Street from State Road 51 when he lost control, causing the vehicle to overturn multiple times. The GMC Sierra came to its final resting place against a fence. Troopers later determined that the driver was not wearing his seatbelt at the time of the incident.
