SVEC Touch-A-Truck a roaring success

Christian Peterson reporter.riverbendnews@gmail.com On Saturday, Nov. 18, Suwannee Valley Electric Cooperative (SVEC) hosted its annual Touch-a-Truck event. Each year, the program has grown bigger and bigger, and this year was no exception. The event isn't just limited to trucks, but any service vehicle used for a career. The goal is to help children learn more about these vehicles. The children learn how they work and are allowed to get inside them, look around and explore, hopefully creating an interest for the future in one of these career paths.
