Lafayette FFA annual Cake Auction raises $23,000

Danny Federico reporter3.riverbendnews@gmail.com Each year, the Lafayette Future Farmers of America (FFA) holds a Kick-off Party and Cake Auction to raise funds for the chapter's activities. This longstanding tradition drew an array of participants, with 175 individuals in attendance eager to contribute to the growth and development of the chapter's members. With 32 cakes, cookies and other assorted treats up for sale, which were donated by various members of the community, this year's Cake Auction was a resounding success. The event, held in the Lafayette High School cafeteria, buzzed with anticipation as participants eagerly awaited the opportunity to bid on these delectable creations.
