Live Oak Mayor Davis addresses Garden Club members

Lucille Heinrich Contributor Live Oak Mayor Frank C. Davis addressed members of the Live Oak Garden Club at their November luncheon meeting. During his talk, he pointed out that surveys confirmed that important factors such as clean, well-kept, safe and inviting surroundings increased individuals’ sense of well-being and satisfaction. He invited members to continue their efforts of beautification of their community by promoting gardening and landscaping knowledge, as well as supporting environmental issues. In addition, six new members were welcomed to the club during the meeting.
