Kids News’ inaugural Gingerbread House Contest aims to sweeten the season

Kids News is excited to announce its first-ever Gingerbread House Contest, a festive competition that invites participants of all ages to showcase their creativity, culinary skills and holiday spirit. Competitors are encouraged to drop their masterpieces off at Suzie's Flower and Gifts, located at 109 Ohio Ave. N, in Live Oak, for judging between noon and 3 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 30. A $5 entry fee will apply. Judging will commence later that evening. The gingerbread houses will then be on display for the community to see on Friday, Dec. 1 and Saturday, Dec. 2, between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. The contest is divided into four age categories: Adult
