As families across the tri-county area prepare to gather for Thanksgiving, Pizza Hut in Live Oak is extending an open invitation to the entire community, offering a heartwarming gesture of gratitude. On Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, Nov. 23, from noon to 2:30 p.m., the restaurant will open its doors to anyone wishing to enjoy a festive meal and the spirit of togetherness.
Miranda Spinks, the warm-hearted force behind this community initiative, is excited to serve a buffet-style Thanksgiving dinner featuring turkey, a variety of sides and desserts. The gesture is a manifestation of Spinks's belief that everyone has a purpose in this world and, for her, that purpose is rooted in helping others.
"I feel everyone is given a purpose in this world, and I believe this is mine. I love helping and giving to those that need it," Spinks shared on Facebook.
The Thanksgiving feast is not exclusive – it is open to anyone in the community who wants to share in the joy of the holiday. Whether someone is in need, spending the day alone or simply seeking a warm and welcoming place to enjoy a meal with family, Pizza Hut aims to create an inclusive space for all.
"I feel like this is what God has planned for me to do, and I need to see that I do just that; plus, I love to socialize and eat. So come join us this Thanksgiving Day," Spinks said.
Spinks hopes to bring the community together, emphasizing the true essence of Thanksgiving – giving thanks by helping others. As Pizza Hut of Live Oak prepares to open its doors on Thanksgiving Day, the gesture is a testament to the power of compassion and community spirit that defines this holiday season.
