Ryan Donaldson places fifth at State Championships

However, that did not stop her from accomplishing her goals this season. Donaldson went into the district tournament as one of the favorites as she has reached the Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA) Class 2A State Championship for the last two seasons. Therefore, while many thought it was a foregone conclusion that she would return to State, Donaldson knew she had to focus and not look too far ahead.
