Bulldogs’ season ends with tough loss to Crusaders

However, those close to the program saw the glaring truth behind their six-game winning streak: the Bulldogs had yet to face any playoff-caliber teams, and their opponents' combined season record was 11-49. In week seven, the Bulldogs faced defeat for the first time this season on the road in Madison County against the Cowboys, 38-13. They followed that up with a controversial 24-21 loss to the Wakulla War Eagles.
