Mayo shows off its talent

On Thursday, Nov. 9, Lafayette High School (LHS) hosted a district-wide talent show. Students of all ages and grades were invited to the LHS auditorium to show off their skills and God-given talents before a crowd. The room was packed with barely a seat empty, and with 20 performers, the stage was set for a wonderful evening.
The night started with a rendition of “Fight Song” sung by Avery Wood from the second grade. Then, a drumline comprised of Joylyn Mora, Lelan Thomas, Marysol Flores, Seth Wallace, Izzy Ellis, Adaya Plummer, Tristan Quick, Teagan Campbell, Dora Sanchez and Sabirel Joh
