Hamilton High School will not be having their annual homecoming parade this year due to Covid-19 and social distancing practices, but there will still be some festivities for the students to express their school spirit with. The theme for homecoming 2020 is “Trick or Treat, Smell our Cleats, Trojan Pride Can’t be Beat!” The following lists are the schedules for school dress days and on campus student activities:
Dress Days- Grades 9-12 for competition. Grades 7 & 8 participation only:
Monday 10/26 - Masquerade Monday: Get creative with your masks*
Tuesday 10/27- Team Tuesday: Support your favorite sports team
Wednesday 10/28- Wacky Wednesday: Wacky-Tacky attire*
Thursday 10/29- Trick or Treat Thursday: Halloween Costumes*
Friday 10/30- Frightful Friday, Beware, the Trojans are coming: Show your Trojan Spirit, wear your Trojan Spirit homecoming T-shirts
*must adhere to school dress code.
Masks may be worn on Monday 10/26 but cannot cover the entire face.
On Campus Student Activities:
10/23-10/29; 3.15 p.m- Hallway Decorating- Grades 9-12 for competition, grades 7 & 8 may participate. Please see class sponsors for details.
10/23-10/29; 3:15 p.m- Billboard Sign Construction- Grades 9-12 only- Please see class sponsors for details.
10/26-10/29- Riddle Me This Scavenger Hunt- Grades 9-12 only- Students will be given a riddle each morning during the morning announcements. Objects answering the riddle will be hidden in the courtyard. Students should find and turn the correct object into Mrs. Deas for points. Points will be based on which class turns in the correct item first.
Wednesday, 10/28- 2nd period; Homecoming King & Queen Elections- grades 7-12 will vote via Performance Matters. Winners will be announced at halftime.
Thursday, 10/29; 4:15 p.m- Pregame/Halftime practice.
Friday, 10/30- Pep-Rally- Grades 7-12 will attend the Pep-Rally at the Stadium.
Friday, 10/30; 12:00 p.m- Early dismissal for students.
Friday, 10/30; 6:45 p.m- Pregame Festivities for Class Prince & Princesses.
Friday, 10/30; 7:30 p.m- Kickoff, Trojans vs Munro Bobcats.
