Wellborn Cornbread Festival smashing success

On Saturday, Nov. 4, the Wellborn Community Association hosted another fan favorite festival with the Wellborn Cornbread Festival. The fall season is full of chili cook-offs and fall festivals, but a highlight for the Wellborn community is their homegrown Cornbread Festival. The festival started early at 7:30 a.m. and lasted until 3:30 p.m. and the plaza was full throughout the day. There were vendors of all kinds from t-shirt sellers to homemade signs to flora sellers, along with pony rides for kids and a monster truck themed bounce house as well. Of course the highlight, with a line so long it could be seen from anywhere in the plaza,
