Arrests made in Jasper Ace Hardware break-in; firearms stolen

Two individuals were arrested Thursday, Nov. 9, after breaking into the Jasper Ace Hardware.
The suspects, 19-year-old Jasper resident Justin Lavell Thomas and 30-year-old Jennings resident Jason Dakota Temple, reportedly attempted to break into the store late Tuesday night, Nov. 7. However, they were unsuccessful. The duo then made their second attempt in the early hours of Wednesday, Nov. 8, where they managed to gain access to the store, a Federal Firearms Licensee, and took four handguns.
According to interim Jasper City Police Chief Leon Kerklin, bicycle tracks and footprints found at the scene led officers to Thomas and Temple, who
