As soon as the Branford Buccaneers saw that they were scheduled to play against the Union County Tigers in the 2023 volleyball season, they eagerly anticipated the chance to avenge two previous losses. The team had high hopes, but the absence of Madyson Sikes due to injury meant that the younger players would have to step up.
Luckily, the team had Madison Ward, a proven dynamic player in the middle. However, they needed someone to play alongside her. This is where freshman Annabella Dicks came in.
