Buccaneers sail to victory against Trojans

Lee Trawick reporter2.riverbendnews@gmail.com On Friday, Nov. 3, Branford High School's sophomore quarterback, Thomas Sikes, led the Buccaneers (7-2) to Hamilton County to face off against the Trojans (3-5). Prior to the game, the Trojans honored the 12 seniors they would be losing at the end of the season. The Trojans entered the matchup with speed and a solid rushing attack. In response, Buccaneers coach Tim Clark drew up a game plan, asking his defense to bend but not break. The defense honored his request, leading to a game of back-and-forth in the first quarter.
