Southern Scholarship Foundation partners with the Florida Lottery

Hamilton County School District Contributor The Southern Scholarship Foundation (SSF) announced a partnership with the Florida Lottery in support of students at Southern Scholarship Foundation’s rent-free houses in Tallahassee, Gainesville and Ft. Myers. As a living and learning community, students living in Southern Scholarship Foundation houses have opportunities to develop life skills, professional skills and leadership skills. Students do not pay rent, saving them up to $6,000 per semester; they pay for their food, utilities, Wi-Fi, services such as waste removal and social events. They work together to manage a household budget of approximately $20,000 per semester. Under leadersh
