Collision claims life on County Road 53

Rick Patrick reporter3.riverbendnews@gmail.com According to a report from the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), on Tuesday, Oct. 31, at approximately 6 a.m. a sedan driven by a 58-year-old San Francisco, Calif., man was traveling south on County Road 255 and approached the intersection with County Road 53 just north of Lafayette County. Meanwhile, a motorcycle driven by a 33-year-old man from Live Oak, Fla., was traveling north on County Road 53. After stopping at the intersection, the sedan proceeded south onto County Road 53, where the vehicle's front collided with the motorcycle.
