Tigers outlast Hornets in four-set playoff duel

Lee Trawick reporter2.riverbendnews@gmail.com The number three seed Lafayette High School volleyball team traveled to Union County to face the number two seed Tigers in the first round of the Class 1A Region 3 playoffs. The two teams had already played each other earlier in the season, making them familiar with each others' styles. In the first set, the Hornets got off to a good start, with Brooke Lamb leading the way. The Tigers tried to dominate early on, but the Hornets resisted with the efforts of Hayvn Richardson and Emma Revels. Despite pushing hard, the Tigers managed to win the first and second sets with scores of 22-25 and 21-25. The Hornets came back strong, winning the third
