Branford residents gather at Ivey Park for “Movie on the Suwannee”

Danny Federico reporter3.riverbendnews@gmail.com On Saturday, Oct. 21, residents of Branford and surrounding areas gathered at Ivey Park under the night sky for a “Movie on the Suwannee.” As the sun dipped below the trees along the Suwannee River, attendees spread their blankets and set up chairs to enjoy a showing of the 2012 animated movie, “Hotel Transylvania.” In addition, Branford High School's Interact Club hosted a concession stand, offering plenty of snacks for attendees to purchase during the movie. The event was sponsored by Franklin and Ronald White, the Rotary Club of Branford, the Town of Branford and the Branford Public Library.
