Alabama fugitive caught by LCSO

Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office Contributor The US Marshals Florida Caribbean Regional Fugitive Task Force received information on Monday, Oct. 30, from the US Marshals Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force in Birmingham, Ala., that a subject wanted by the Anniston Police Department (APD) in Anniston, Ala., was in Mayo, Fla. Caleb Palmer Harris was being sought by the APD for the offense of attempted murder after shooting a female victim on Sept. 25, 2023. Harris fled the scene and the US Marshals were contacted for assistance in locating him.
