Hamilton youth discover career opportunities with CNA program field trip

Michelana Byrd Contributor On Tuesday, Oct. 3, Dawn Sims took her CNA class to an educational field trip to North Florida Regional Hospital in Gainesville, Fla. The students went on a tour of the facility and also participated in a few hands-on activities which focused on the geriatric age group. The excitement each of them had was so wonderful to see. Numerous questions were asked because they were very inquisitive about everything. They walked through the third floor wing, which allowed them to see empty rooms that are used for mothers and babies before and after birth.
