Hamilton County Fair Events Day celebrates another success of livestock excellence and family fun

The day of showmanship and high quality livestock took place on Thursday, Oct. 5. The day kicked off at 1 p.m. with the swine show. This was followed by a horse show that was open to all ages, with categories including Lead Line, Pee Wee, Small Fry and Juniors. Events for the show included Texas Barrel, Arena Racing and Clover Leaf. Attendees and participants then had the opportunity to fuel up with a delicious barbecue pork supper before heading into the Pee Wee Pig Scramble at 6:30 p.m. This was quickly followed by the swine sale at 7 p.m. The
