Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month

Beginning as a week-long celebration in 1968, Hispanic Heritage Month became a month-long celebration in1988 to celebrate Hispanic and Latin people both inside and outside of the United States. This celebration takes place each year from Sept. 15 to Oct. 15. It recognizes cultures, customs, contributions and feats of the Hispanic community. Every year, Hispanic Heritage Month adopts a new theme.
