The Suwannee County Sheriff's Office and Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranches, Inc., will present “Harmony in the Street” from Monday, July 17 to Friday, July 21, at Branford Elementary School. The free, five-day camp includes many activities for youth ages 6 to 12, such as archery and group building, along with law enforcement demonstrations. Youth attending the camp should bring closed toed shoes, a t-shirt and shorts, a swimsuit or change of clothes to get wet in, a towel, sunscreen and a hat. Lunch is provided. No smoking or chewing tobacco, alcohol, illegal drugs of any kind, knives, hatchets, guns or weapons are allowed. T-shirts or clothing with inappropriate words or messages are strictly prohibited. Campers should not bring money, jewelry, cellphones, video games or expensive recreational equipment. The camp will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday through Thursday, with pick-up being at 1 p.m. on Friday. Branford Elementary School is located at 2681 FL 247, in Branford. Applications can be picked up at the elementary school's front office, or found on their Facebook page.
