Railroad History in Suwannee County is a free event where county historian, Eric Musgrove, will delve into the rich history of Suwannee County’s historic railroads.
Musgrove was the 1996 salutatorian of Suwannee High School, and a December 1997 valedictorian of Faulkner University, where he received a Bachelor’s degree in history at the age of nineteen.
Returning home to Suwannee County in 1998, Musgrove began working for the Suwannee County Clerk of the Court. He remains there today as historian and records manager, among many other duties.
The event will take place on Saturday, Jan. 14, from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Suwannee County Historical Museum, located at 208 N. Ohio Ave. For more information about Suwannee County’s railroads, visit visitsuwannee.com.
