The Stephen Foster Folk Cultural Center hosted Breakfast with Santa on Saturday, Dec. 17, at 10:30 a.m. Nicole Williams organized and coordinated the event to spread joy to White Springs families. Volunteers helped prepare and serve green pancakes and bacon for over 80 participants. Toys for Tots of Columbia County provided all the kids with toys. βIt was a very special morning with lots of happy kids,β volunteer Sharon Shea stated. Though they do not typically get along, Santa Claus and the Grinch had a blast mingling with children and passing out gifts. Parents also enjoyed snapping photos of their kiddos with Santa, and the children could barely contain their excitement as they received their toys, each of which was wrapped up or placed in a festive gift bag. Overall, the morning was filled with holiday magic and provided long-lasting memories for many.
