On Sunday, Nov. 20, the Branford High School Bassmasters team traveled to Sandy Point for another strong showing in their inaugural season. In just their second tournament of the season, the Branford Bassmasters once again claimed first-place when Troy Roberts's catch weighed in at four pounds. He also received the Big Fish win with a catch weighing 2.57 pounds.
Joining Roberts on the podium was Logan Thompson, who finished in second place with 3.54 total pounds. Tate Dampier tallied 3.37 pounds for a third place finish. Also earning honors on the day was Julianna Barrs, who earned the Small Fish win with a catch weighing in at .31 pounds.
Also competing for the Buccaneers were Thomas Sikes (2.73 pounds), Noah Ramsey (2.54 pounds), Austin Humphries (1.89 pounds) and Ayden Humphries (.35 pounds).
