It's been 19 years since Americans were attacked on their own soil. The morning of Sept. 11, 2001, was unlike any other as New York City's Twin Towers were ambushed and destroyed with hundreds of Americans losing their lives.
In remembrance, the veterans, and the sons and daughters of the American Legion Harry C. Gray II Memorial Post No. 107 are set to host a 9/11 memorial for the victims of the 9/11 terrorist attacks on the World Trade Centers. The memorial event will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 11.
