The Hamilton High School Trojans football team will play an intra-squad Red and White scrimmage game on Thursday, Sept. 3, at 5 p.m. This will be your opportunity to check out the exciting team new head coach Kirkland Mitchell has put together as the Trojans embark on their “resurgence” this season.
Football fans can enjoy the action, free of charge, with a simple donation of a case of water or Gatorade for the team. The concession stand will also be open.
“[The] guys are working extremely hard,” said Kirkland. “Our coaching [staff is] just trying to resurge this program. Fans can expect offense to be fun and defense running to the football. Up front we could be special with the linemen we have and with our offensive coordinator being our line coach; I'm excited to see those hogs get after it … we are [bringing] that Hamco Swag back!”
The scrimmage will take place at Veteran's Memorial Stadium, located at 5683 U.S. Hwy 129, in Jasper.
