Logan Rodriguez is a five-year-old hit-and-run victim and has been in and out of the hospital fighting injuries. Rodriguez was riding his bike around 7 p.m. on Monday, April 4, when he was struck by a Ford Edge. The accident left him in critical condition.
“He is a strong baby and so are the parents he's been blessed with,” said a family friend, Sylvia Tanner.
The Rodriguez family has started a fundraiser selling t-shirts to help support Rodriguez's medical bills and therapy costs. The shirts are $20 each and come printed with the text, “Logan Strong,” in red or black. To purchase a t-shirt supporting Rodriguez, text (386) 855-1149 or (386) 855-2317.
At this time, Rodriguez is doing notably better, he has since had his neck brace removed and is now speaking in full sentences. Rodriguez’s father says he has “been acting like his old self again, very stubborn and a pain in the butt.”
