Deni Grace Allen, 24, of Live Oak, passed away on Thursday, June 16, 2022. Allen grew up in Live Oak and graduated with honors from Suwannee High School (SHS) in 2016. Allen was on the softball, soccer and bowling teams while at SHS, where she was also voted Class Clown her senior year. She had the most diverse group of friends from every walk of life and she truly never met a stranger. Everyone has a "Deni" story because she loved her people fiercely.
After high school, Allen attended North Florida College and enjoyed working at JW Hill Auctions and was a Certified Nursing Assistant at Suwannee Health Care from 2016 to 2018. She also coached junior varsity (JV) softball at SHS and enjoyed spending time with the players during the season. Allen often worked, danced and laughed with her mother and best friend at Hogan's Just Play It and Hogan Tee Company. Allen constantly strived to further her education and achievements, including attending a year of pharmacy tech school and real estate school.
On any given evening, Allen could be found with her beloved cat, Hank, or on the back porch listening to classic country music while talking to friends and family on the phone. She loved to spend time with her family and had a special bond with her cousins. Allen will be missed by so many.
Allen is survived by her mother, Maureen Hogan; father, Tim (Sharon) Allen; brother, Harley (Kurstan) Allen; sister, Caroline Allen; and granny, Marla Hogan. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Charles Hogan and her uncle, Trent Blanton.
Allen will forever be in the hearts of her extended family: aunt, Kelly (Albert) Hogan and her children, Brad (Alyssa) Lewis and their daughter, Dream; Sarah (Vinnie) LaSorsa and children Ella and Joseph; Katie (Jakob) Muller and Shane Lewis; aunt, Colleen (Dale) Hogan and her daughter, Amanda Sykes; uncle, Charles (Lori) Hogan II and their children, Wyatt (Johanna) Hogan, Shannon Hogan and Jamie (Tommie) Hogan; aunt, Christine (Michael) Blanton-Hildebrandt and son, Trent Blanton II and uncle, Mark (Nichole) Hogan and children Charles Hogan, Samantha Hogan and Reese Hogan.
