Do you have questions for the people you're voting for? Come to the first ever “Beyond the Polls” Political Forum hosted by Riverbend News to get all your answers! Meet the politicians around the bend and hear their take on all the hot-button local issues. The Forum will open up with a meet and greet from 4:30 p.m. to 5:45 p.m., where you will be able to meet the candidates face-to-face and ask them questions before the main event.
The Forum will officially begin at 6 p.m., with the National Anthem being performed by Branford star, Sadie Miller. Have your questions answered during the timed audience Q&A session at 8 p.m. Questions must be submitted before 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 21, for a chance to be asked. Note that not all audience questions will be asked and that all questions will be presented by the moderator. To submit your questions ahead of time, visit our Political Forum questionnaire at https://forms.gle/A76Re7DWr6UyGZx86 or by scanning the QR code accompanying this article.
So far, the politicians confirmed to be attending the Forum include Suwannee County Judge candidates Jennifer Kuyrkendall Griffin, Arminda W. “Mindy” Janousek and Ryan J. Peters, as well as Suwannee County Commissioner, District 4 candidate, Leo Mobley. Any other candidates interested in participating should call (386) 364-4141.
