Suwannee Springcrest Elementary's Service Club received a very special visitor on Friday, March 4. At 2 p.m., Suwannee County Animal Control brought three-legged Captain Jack, a very sweet pup in need of a home, to speak with students at the conclusion of their pet drive. Animal Control Supervisor Jennifer Burleson and Animal Control Officer Denise Watson gave out activity books and spoke with students about what their facility does. Students also learned more about animal needs and animal safety.
