On Saturday, March 5, Branford High School (BHS) held its 2022-23 Miss BHS Pageant in the auditorium. Nine young girls from Branford Elementary School in Kindergarten and first grade competed for the title of Little Miss BHS. Additionally, there were two young ladies in grades six through nine competing for the title of Junior Miss BHS. Five young ladies from BHS in grades 10 through 12 competed for the title of Miss BHS.
Those who received awards in the Little Miss BHS pageant were Layla Roberts, Audience Choice; Alexa Ramos, Photogenic and Second Runner-Up; Andelyn Barnes, First Runner-Up and Harlyn Harris, 2022-23 Little Miss BHS.
Those who received awards in the Junior Miss BHS pageant were Wren Wilkerson and Sadie Miller. Sadie Miller received the Photogenic and Talent Awards. Wilkerson received Audience Choice, Junior Miss Linda Cannon Miss Congeniality Award and was crowned 2022-23 Junior Miss BHS.
Those who received awards in the Junior Miss BHS pageant were Jadyn Mosley, Mckayden Wilkerson, Delaney Fennell and Zamaria Granado. Granado received the Talent Award and First Runner-up. Mosely received Audience Choice and Fennell received the Miss Linda Cannon Miss Congeniality Award. Wilkerson received the Photogenic Award and was crowned 2022-23 Miss BHS.
