Edward E. Davis (Nov. 14, 1936 - Feb. 23, 2022) of Holmes County moved to Suwannee County in 2017. He passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by loved ones, after a long illness. He was a retired minister of Pentecostal faith and a loving father and grandfather.
He was preceded in death by, James Davis (father); Eldora Davis (mother); Joyce Lorraine Davis Tabares (daughter); Joshua Tabares (grandson); April Cathy Lee (great-granddaughter); two sisters, Dolly Dady and Annie Lee Locke; three brothers Johnnie Davis, James Davis and Howard Davis. He is survived by three children, Cathy White (Live Oak), Renee D. Wilhoit (Pensacola, Fla.) and Stan Davis (Lake City, Fla.); 10 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. A memorial service for the family will be held in Holmes County at a later date.
