“You want to drink? That’s your business. You want to stop? That’s our business.” Join Live Oak’s Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) group to discover a new way of life. Regular Live Oak AA meetings are held each week at 7 p.m., Tuesdays through Saturdays. Men only meetings are held each Sunday at 8 a.m., and are followed by women only meetings at 4 p.m. The group also holds Al-Anon and AlaTeen meetings every Sunday at 2 p.m., which are open to friends and family of all ages. Each session will be held in the building next to the Suwannee County Health Department at 911 Nobles Ferry Rd., in Live Oak.

Let TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) help you with your weight management goals. TOPS is a weight-loss support group that meets weekly on Wednesdays and Thursdays. TOPS will meet on Wednesday, May 8, at 9:15 a.m. at Grace Lutheran Church, located at 9989 CR 136, in Live Oak. The UF/IFAS Suwannee Master Gardeners will be on-hand at the Live Oak Public Library from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. to answer all your planting inquiries. The History of Suwannee County is presented at the Live Oak Public Library on the Second Thursday of the month from noon to 1 p.m. by County Historian Eric Musgrove. The topic for this month will be Haunted History. The Live Oak Public Library is located at 1848 Ohio Ave. S.

Join the Live Oak Public Library from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. for a Tea Party. Attendees will learn to make friendship tea, play games and enjoy the party while relaxing with beautiful music.
