On Saturday, Oct. 16, the Branford Buccaneers 10U football team traveled to Bell, Fla., to take on the Chiefland Indians 10U team for the Tri-County Youth Football League Championship. The Buccaneers took their 6-1 record into the championship, boasting a stout defense with an offense that could break a big play at any given moment. The Buccaneers came out firing on all cylinders while containing the Indians to only seven points. The Buccaneers ran away with 25 points to secure the win and the 2021 Tri-County League Championship by a score of 25-7.
The Branford 10U Buccaneers were crowned the 2021 Tri-County Champions.
