Live Oak's Rotary Club is building a splash park at the First Federal Sportsplex on Silas Drive. as a monument to the club's 100-year anniversary of dedication and commitment to the citizens of Live Oak. The splash park is currently under construction as an enhancement to the already existing park. It has been under construction since June and is scheduled to be completed by fall of this year. A member of the Live Oak Rotary Club, Brandon Fernald, states that the park is for "our community and beyond" and that the creation of the park can be accredited as a “collective effort from the Live Oak Rotary Club, community, county, city and Suwannee parks and rec." Those who donated to the splash parks creation will be recognized and invited to the park's ribbon cutting event.The First Federal Sportsplex is located at 1201 Silas Dr. S. W., Live Oak Fla. 32060.
