Deborah K. Law, 66, of White Springs and Lake City, passed away on Thursday, Aug. 5, at her home following an extended illness. She was born in Ft. Benning, Ga. and had been a resident of Lake City since 1970. Law loved doing arts and crafts, making dolls and going to the mountains with her family every year. She worked for many years in the banking industry with Occidental, GTE and First Federal Savings Bank of Florida. Law was preceded in death by her father, Eldon R. Richardson and her husband, Charlie Law.
Survivors include her son, Jonathan Law; her daughter, Jennifer Law; her mother, Katie Allbritton Richardson; two brothers, Duane Richardson and David Richardson; two sisters, Denise Dodson and Donna Richardson; six grandchildren, Austin Miller, Josephine Law Richardson, Carter Law, Cale Stout, Robby Stout and Kassie Shelly and one great-grandchild, Cyrus Richardson.
Memorial services for Law were held on Tuesday, Aug. 10, at 2 p.m. in the Gateway-Forest Lawn Memorial Chapel with Pastor Randy Ogburn officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the charity of your choice.
