A Tennessee man is deceased following an accident in Hamilton County on Tuesday, May 18.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) release, the 63-year-old male driver and a 61-year-old female passenger, both from Kodak, Tenn., were traveling north on I-75 in a motorhome pulling a small sports utility vehicle (SUV). At approximately 5:57 p.m., at I-75 mile marker 452 northbound, the motorhome traveled off the roadway to the left and struck a guardrail in the center median.
The passenger is reported to have no serious injuries. However, the driver was later pronounced deceased at Suwannee ER, located at 1100 11th St. SW, in Live Oak. Names of those involved have not been released by FHP pending next of kin notification.
