The search for a missing boater ended Wednesday night, May 5, after his body was recovered from the Suwannee River.
The boater, identified as Andor Dora of O'Brien, went missing around 8 p.m., on Tuesday, May 4, after his boat suffered a mechanical issue that caused it to crash into a tree. Dora and two other men were ejected into the water. Officials from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, Suwannee County Sheriff's Office, Jacksonville Sheriff's Office and other agencies gathered at Ivey Memorial Park, located at 614 SW Ivey Memorial Park Dr., in Branford to conduct the search, sending dive teams down the Suwannee River.
Dora was identified by Florida Fish and Wildlife officials at approximately 5:30 p.m., after being recovered from the Suwannee River.
